Who should use Dynamic PowerTrainer®?
Anyone who needs to train large groups of people offline and online – with or without a learning management system. This typically includes managers of training, marketing, corporate messaging, partner relations, and human resources, as well as teachers in schools, professors at universities, firms that produce e-learning contents and any individual who wants to create and share e-learning courses.

In what areas can I deploy Dynamic PowerTrainer®? Can I also use it to draw up tests and exams?
Dynamic PowerTrainer® is suitable for a wide range of uses, whether you want to create simple exercises and questions or a complex eLearning course with exam and certificate and then integrate it into a current learning management system. It takes just a few steps to create, publish and manage interactive, multimedia learning content for your product or IT training, soft skills training or exams.
Dynamic PowerTrainer® is ideally suited for preparing tests and exams containing HTML pages, Flash content, questions, dictionary, etc. All users are identified when they log in to track their progress and exam results. Records are stored in an encoded form and can only be viewed by the user in question or his or her trainer or supervisor.
You can use Dynamic PowerTrainer® to perform a statistical analysis of every course. This means, for example, that the test results for a particular user or an entire course can be viewed. The specific analysis of a particular question or the anonymous analysis of course results can also be performed.
Advanced statistical analyses can be performed in conjunction with a learning management system or Dynamic PowerTrainer® Manager.

Is there really no programming at all needed with Dynamic PowerTrainer®?
That’s absolutely true! Creating  highly interactive multimedia courses with the Dynamic PowerTrainer® needs no programming whatsoever.

What platforms is Dynamic PowerTrainer® available for? Does Dynamic PowerTrainer® work on a Macintosh?
In creating e-learning courses using Dynamic PowerTrainer®  you’ll need Windows 2000 or Windows XP. The created courses however can be played on Windows and Linux systems (Macintosh coming soon) using a popular Webbrowser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, Firefox or Opera with a Microsoft JAVA Virtual Machine or SUN JAVA. If the courses contain multimedia sequences, you will also need a Flash plug-in (available free of charge from Macromedia).

What languages is Dynamic PowerTrainer® available in?
Currently, Dynamic PowerTrainer® is available in German and English. If you need Dynamic PowerTrainer® to be localized in your language, please ask, since it can be done very easily.

What are the requirements to view a Dynamic PowerTrainer® course? Do learners need to install plug-ins in order to view contents created with Dynamic PowerTrainer®?
To view a Dynamic PowerTrainer® course you only need to have either a Windows or a Linux system (Macintosh coming soon) and a popular Webbrowser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, Firefox or Opera with an installed Microsoft JAVA Virtual Machine or SUN JAVA and you’ll be fine. If you want to play multimedia sequences with text, pictures and synchronous speech, you also need the very popular (and free) Flash plug-in from Macromedia.

Does Dynamic PowerTrainer® support  other formats like Microsoft Office, Macromedia Flash or Adobe PDF?
Dynamic PowerTrainer® makes it easy to embed  any content created in following file types: Microsoft Office Excel (xls), Word (doc) and PowerPoint (ppt, pps); Macromedia Flash and Shockwave; HTML (from one page to complete websites); Adobe Acrobat (pdf); Real (smil); Video (avi, mpg, mov).

Does Dynamic PowerTrainer® meet the international standards AICC and SCORM and is it therefore compatible with learning management systems (LMS)?
Dynamic PowerTrainer® courses can be integrated into any LMS using AICC and SCORM (1.2 and 1.3). There is also a unique integration with the Hyperwave eLearning suite (www.hyperwave.com), making it possible to learn online and offline and synchronize the learner’s status.
And for those who don’t own an LMS yet, the Dynamic PowerTrainer Professional also comes with Dynamic PowerTrainer® Manager, a databased system that manages your courses and trainees and also synchronises learning status and statistics.

Can I have my corporate logo in every course I create using Dynamic PowerTrainer®?
Dynamic PowerTrainer® uses a “skin technique” that seperates the content completely from the interface with the big advantage that you can “re-skin” all your courses any time you wish, if you have the skin changed.
This comes in very handy if your company suddenly decides to change it’s logo, corporate identity or if you have to publish the same course many times using different skins (like global companies with daughter firms that use different logos for example).

Can I use Dynamic PowerTrainer® to conduct certification training?
Yes. You can use Dynamic PowerTrainer® to assign a unique logon and password to each user who completes a course. The user data is encrypted and can only be read by the user him-/herself or by the trainer using Dynamic PowerTrainer® or a Learning Management System.

Can Dynamic PowerTrainer® give me visibility into the effectiveness of my training?
Dynamic PowerTrainer® Professional provides reports that give you statistics on the effectiveness of each course. For example, you can see how a particular user scored on a test, or you can see how all learners scored on a test, or even on a particular question. The user data can also be made anonymous. For more statistical data you can also connect your course to a Learning Management System or use the Dynamic PowerTrainer® Manager.

What are the differences between Dynamic PowerTrainer® and other eLearning authoring tools?
