Users are often only vaguely interested in the technology behind a complex product. Functionality and user-friendliness are much more important for them. Before using Dynamic PowerTrainer®, every user should know the requirements that his or her system should meet in order to guarantee smooth functioning of the software.
|  | System requirements when creating Dynamic PowerTrainer® courses
- Processor: Pentium 1GHz
- RAM: 256 MB (with at least 128 MB available)
- Operating system: Microsoft Windows (2000, XP)
- Graphics: 16-bit color depth with a resolution of at least 1,024 x 768 pixels; recommended: higher resolution or a two-monitor system
- Sound: sound card (if you intend working with sound)

- CPU: Pentium III 500 MHz (recommended: Pentium 1GHz)
- Operating system: Microsoft Windows (2000, XP), Linux (SuSe Linux V9.2; without local user tracking)
- Graphics: 16-bit color depth with a resolution of at least 800 x 600 pixels
- Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer V5.0 and higher, Netscape V7.1 and higher, Mozilla V1.4 and higher, Firebox V1.0 and higher, Opera V7.5 or higher
- JAVA: Sun Java V1.4 (supported: V1.4.0_04, V1.4.1_07, V1.4.2_08, V1.5.0_05)
- FLASH: Flash Plugin V8 or higher for PowerTrainer sequences
- JAVA script und scripting for Java-Applets activated
- to save user data locally, you'll need write access to the user directory

- Sound card and Flash plug-in 8 or higher, if sound is to be used in the learning content
- Other plug-ins (e.g. Shockwave, Adobe, Microsoft Office...), depending on the learning content used
