Users can be added manually or via a CSV import. If required, the system can also communicate directly with an LDAP server.
A variety of user roles with different authorizations are available in the system:
- Administrator: user with all authorizations. Can add, modify and delete users, courses and workshops.
- Author: can add and modify courses.
- Trainer: can add, modify and delete workshops (assign several courses and users).
- Learner: can complete courses that have been assigned to him or her.
Existing courses can be integrated seamlessly into the platform. The learner can access the course content over the web once he or she has been successfully authenticated. Learning data for individual users is saved in a database. Depending on the user's access level, he or she can download clearly laid out information on learning status, result assessment and course statistics.

Dynamic PowerTrainer® Manager complies with the important international standard AICC (the integration of SCORM is planned). When it comes to authoring software, Dynamic PowerTrainer® Manager and Dynamic PowerTrainer® are the perfect team solution.
Dynamic PowerTrainer® Editor is a non-browser-based Windows application that is installed locally on your PC. It works on a local file system and uses text, graphics, audio files, etc. to create courses. When the browser-enabled course is published for Dynamic PowerTrainer® Manager, it is saved, together with a HTML Home page, in the local file system. This can be uploaded onto any web server from where it can be accessed. In Dynamic PowerTrainer® Manager, this course is specified simply by the URL for the Home page.
The learner activates a course from the learning area in Dynamic PowerTrainer® Manager. It is then displayed in a separate browser window. Learning progress for individual users is saved in the Dynamic PowerTrainer® Manager database. This can be viewed by means of the user's statistics function.
